Violet
Violet is a Reiki Grand Master with a PhD in Metaphysical Science. She is a proud queer healer devoted to helping others rediscover peace after life’s most difficult moments. Through her practice, Crystal Calm, she offers deeply restorative in-person lithotherapy Reiki sessions designed to support those navigating heartbreak, grief, loss, and complex trauma.
Each session is a tranquil experience — a blend of energy work, crystal healing, and gentle guidance — created to soothe the nervous system, release emotional heaviness, and help clients reconnect with their best selves. Many of the crystals used in Violet’s sessions are hand-collected during her travels, each one chosen for its unique vibrational qualities.
At Crystal Calm, you don’t have to hide the heavy stuff. Bring your heartbreak, your grief, your shadows — all your negativity. Violet can hold it all. Her practice is a sanctuary for the deep, dark, and tender parts of your healing, offering compassion and grounding energy where it’s needed most. Fun Facts About Violet
How long have you been in the beauty industry?
I’ve been in industry for 20 years.
What inspired you to pursue a career in the beauty industry?
I awakened at the age of 13, by 18 I was desperate for answers. That’s when I began studying metaphysics, parapsychology, reiki, astrology, tarot, etc. I began working in the industry while studying because people on forums kept asking me for readings or healing sessions, and I liked knowing that my weird brain could help people.
What service are you most passionate about?
Lithotherapy – because it’s such a unique healing experience that’s really tailored to everyone’s individual energy. I never know which crystals will resonate with the client, it’s all very intuitive guided, and everyone I’ve done it for has said it was an experience they didn’t know they needed to have, but now they can’t imagine living without it.
What do you love most about working at Van Isle Beauty?
The welcoming atmosphere, the wonderful colleagues, and the future clients who will become friends.atmosphere where we all come together to create magic and make our clients feel absolutely fabulous!
What do you enjoy doing on your off time?
I’m a singer-songwriter (@wrennimusic on IG if you’re curious), so I’m often at karaoke or open mic, or I’m out walking my shepherd-Malinois-mastiff doggy, or I’m out rock hounding or exploring the island.
One product you can't live without?
I love all my crystals but a few years ago I acquired the largest intact piece of Jet you can find in the whole world, and I have to say while it looks incredibly boring it’s honestly one of the pieces I couldn’t imagine parting with.
